About Lanta Gras

Lanta Gras, a registered 501 c(3) nonprofit organization awards scholarships for kid's professional music lessons, provides musical instruments and produces the Annual Lanta Gras Parade and Festival.

 

We Build Community Through Music.

Over 1500 Private Music lessons paid for by the Lanta GrasMusic Program through our partner Guitar Shed

Over 100 music instruments donated and placed since 2015

Our mission is to build community and provide opportunities for children through the common bond of music. Influenced by New Orleans’ Brass Band culture, we are a non-profit that uses the power of music to unify our diverse neighborhoods.

    Come and join us at Steady Hand Beer Co on June 5th for a day of live music and fundraising for Lanta Gras music program. We will have live music from 2:00-8:00 performed by Guitar Shed teachers along with their families and bandmates. FREE Raffle prizes by local businesses.
